Beijing 2009Making many new trumpet friends here in Beijing on my whirlwind lecture and performance tour. Here are the CCM trumpet players after my brass techniques lecture.  CCM Trumpet Players at Brass Techniques Lecture We also put together the FIRST Big Band EVER at CCM! In three short rehearsals, we put together a nice concert with the newly formed student big band that even included some jazz improvisation from these talented students.  NEW CCM Big Band Also had the chance to work with the Beijing Army Big Band. A talented group of players with alot of energy!  Beijing Army Big Band Trumpet Section Joe Lu (Beijing UFTP chapter president) and the Beijing Big Band were a pleasure to work with as they prepared some TOUGH material for various concerts in the Beijing area.
